As we gear up to celebrate Thanksgiving this week, let’s touch back on gratitude!
Gratitude is one of the most accessible and also the most powerful tools we have in order to reach our money goals and just experience an overall feeling of “everything is going to be ok.”
It provides immediate mindset results and can shift you from living deep in the darkness of desperation to a feeling of hopefulness and faith.
Read below for a quick Gratitude Guide: How to do it, why to do it, and most importantly why it’s essential in fostering your Money Mindset of Abundance.
The How:
Make a daily list of 5 things you’re most grateful for.
*Challenge*: Make a short list of things upsetting you right now and try to find the silver lining in each—dig deep!
Follow up that list with 5 reasons you have faith in yourself as well as the world around you.
Believe that the world is conspiring to see you do your best.
Next Step: have patience and see what happens next.
The Why:
You’ve probably heard the expression, “What we appreciate, appreciates!”.
This is another way of saying, what we focus on not only appears but becomes our baseline of reality.
Be it the good or the bad, where we focus our attention, our life reflects.
We’re all made up of energy and practicing gratitude is one of those things that raises our energetic frequency.
The higher our frequency the better we feel, the more faith and confidence we have in meeting our goals and the more likely we are to take action.
The real WHY:
In order to bring your desires forth into your life, you must have been practicing getting into that space before you can easily receive them!
When you’re relaxed, excited, joyful, and GRATEFUL the energy that comes to us is much easier to absorb.
It doesn’t get all blocked by our worries and anxieties.
When we direct our focus on what we want, our brain naturally seeks out those things.
It’s like saying the word “Yellow. Yellow. Yellow. Yellow.” over and over while looking around the room.
You’ll notice all the yellow!
We have brain-bias; it’s science.
FYI our bias actually slants towards the negative, so this is hard work! But so worth it!
Bottom Line: in one way or another, it’s possible you created the financial reality you’re in right now.
If you don’t love that reality, pick a few things to be grateful for and keep them top of mind this week of Thanksgiving and then beyond.
See where your brain shifts, your energy follows, and have faith in the positive that transpires next!
